I recently heard about this book from a trusted book source and book podcaster. The charming and beautiful cover is pleasing to the eye, and it's fun to have a beautiful cover on your nightstand and in your hand. I love a family saga, set in a place very far from where I live, and from the first few paragraphs, I can already tell I will like this protagonist (she did, after all, move to the sea to drink away her sorrows until her death, but something got in the way and she couldn't die because someone else already died).
Charming, likeable characters, Sicilian setting, beautiful cover. Just give me a glass of prosecco and a comfortable chair, and this will make a perfect read (even better, read it by the sea!)
