This reminds me of those harlequin mystery romance you see sitting on the bookshelf but never pick up. The plot definitely didn’t grab me or rock my world. I could definitely see this as being a “candy read” and a very easy to read book. The characters seem likable enough and hey it’s set in Italy so that’s kind of cool and exotic. I really wish I could have gotten to read a little bit more in the first look. I felt like I didn’t get enough feel for anything to make me say “hey this could be a good book! I should pick it up!” I feel like it being set in Italy could make it really interesting if th author describes it just right. Overall could be a good book but it didn’t grab me like it should have.
