The character mold in which Auntie Poldi fits is a timeless one! An older lady, retired and usually widowed or never married, with nothing but time on her hands to solve crazy mysteries that civilians would never really get involved with. And all with an exotic backdrop - in this case, Sicily. I love this mystery genre as it always allows for plenty of humor in addition to the case, which provides ample whodunit moments. Looking forward to adding Auntie Poldi to my collection!
