The summary of the book intrigued me so I was really looking forward to reading the first look. I didn't enjoy the beginning as much as I hoped to. I think I wasn't the correct audience for this. There so too much reference to the Italian culture and I don't know it well enough to understand any of the references. I don't think I would read the full book based off of that.
