After reading this excerpt, I have a question for you. Why in the blazes do I care about your aunt? Clearly, you love her but you give no explanation as to why I should care. I like that she is a strong woman who knows what she wants but why should I care that she moved to Sicily and it took her a month to find a house? Why should I care about anything that she does? I look forward to hearing your answer.

And after reading the synopsis for this "cozy murder", I wish that there was more of that is the excerpt and then maybe I wouldn't have had such a hard time finding interest in reading it.
