In just the first couple of paragraphs, I was immediately intrigued by Auntie Poldi who sounds like an entertaining character. I like her choice of lifestyle for her retirement and she seems like she'll be a smart and capable woman. The family members that are introduced also sound like they'll add a good deal of entertainment to the story.
