I enjoyed reading the first few chapters of this book. I've seen a couple reviews in book journals so far and it sounded intriguing to me. Eldon sounds like a realistic teenager to me. He's somewhat snarky but polite and seems like he has good intentions. I really want to know more about his parents' wishes and even Merrill's wish. I can see these wishes being tricky and like Penelope mentions, the wording has to be very specific so that there are no adverse effects. I wonder how all the different wishes affect this small town. This is definitely something that I would like to purchase for my library and for myself! I need to find out what Eldon wishes for and hopefully the outcomes of his wish.
