I found myself captivated from the first chapter. Nothing like a small town with an interesting twist. I loved the premise of wishes, and how much the wishes actually mean and help the tiny town of Madison. How one wish pretty much defines you as a whole. This story may be set in a small town, but the cast of characters made it feel all the more special.
Eldon...I keep seeing love/hate in most reviews. I can see both sides. There was times where I found him to be a bit of a Jerk, but other times, I found that I agreed with his actions. I mean...he's in a small town, sheltered life and not much to do. As a teen, that would bound to be boring, especially when you aren't so sure where you want to go, what you want to do with yourself after the wish.
I did find in a few spots that the story really lulled for me, went slower than it needed to, but overall, I really enjoyed this story.
