This book intrigued me from reading the preview provided by BookishFirst. I loved the premise of the synopsis which peeked my intent to read this novel. The idea that one gets one wish in life that actually becomes true is uplifting and cautionary at the same time. I, for one, would have a difficult decision to make in this regard. Most readers would undoubtedly wish for more wealth, perfect health, or the power of immortality. While more wealth is a viable goal, it will not correct all things in one's life. It may make a few easier to bear, but in the long run it may create more problems than positive effects on one's life.
Still, the plot seems has valid merit and is very worth investigating, if only to see how different people would handle this difficult choice, should they be offered it.
