While wishing has been done before (see most fairy tales out there) this book seems to have a fresh twist on the topic. At first glance of the intro blurb I had a flash back to a Supernatural episode where people in a town were making wishes at a local fountain and they were coming true, but it wasn’t always a good thing. This book almost seems more realistic in a way than fairytale. It also gave me the sense of thinking what if this were real? It has definitely caught my interest because I need to know more about the characters and their wishes and the consequences!!! Over the past weekend I had an author tell me that if you build up curiosity and hope for a character especially in the beginning that’s a sign of a great read. Are all the wishes good? Are all the wishes bad? I need to know! I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of this one.
