This book definitely caught my attention, and I'd like to read and review the whole thing in the future. I liked the author's style and the fact that it's got an original plot. It seems like nothing I've read before.
I think this book can appeal to different audiences because it has a male main character, which I think is not as common in YA. It has this fantasy/ sci-fi vibe that I know many people like, but it still deals with situations that are common in contemporary young adult novels.
I appreciated the fact that I was provided with the first three chapters of the book, because that gave me a clear idea of how this novel is going to go. It is a fast read, and I'm sure that once I get to have the whole novel, I'll devour it.
