I connected with this book so much being that I grew up in a town between nothing and nowhere myself. The connections formed in a small town seem so important and the desire to want the ones your love and your community to thrive in happiness is a very real feelings so I was instantly feeling a kindred pull to this story.
But unlike my town, in Madison everyone is gifted with the power to have one wish granted. Unfortunately, as wishes tend to go, what you truly feel you desire materialistic wise, is not always what it seems. The question is, can one persons selfless wish change the lives to the people he live for the better?
