I used to read YA all the time, but at the age of 31 I decided to start reading more adult books and got sucked into the world of adult fiction, specifically mystery/thriller. This book doesn't feel like a YA book to me, even though I know that's what it is considered. Maybe it's the swearing? Either way, I really enjoyed the first glance of this book.
I love the cover, and the premise of this book. A town where everyone gets one wish? Sign me up! Eldon obviously has a troubled family, and I really want to read this book to the end to find out what he ends up wishing for. The author does a great job of the mystery of what he will wish for and making me want to keep reading to find out. I will definitely read this book no matter what.
