Sometimes you start reading a story and by the end of the first few pages you can already tell that the narrator would be a fun person to follow around. Not in a creepy way, but because of their inner voice. Eldon does exactly that for me. I enjoyed that it isn't forced and I'm officially interested and hooked! I want to know what happens, and I love that the main character isn't excited about his wish like everyone else, we would all think that there's a wish for sure, but I can appreciate the different train of thought. Also I want to know what happened to his sister!
