I love the cover of this book. It has an Iron Giant feel type to it, which is authentic and nostalgic for me. The premise of being granted only a single wish, seems a bit like torture or tragedy of imminent doom, really. I would be surprised if this book didn't drag, but I like the idea that the kid won't wish for what everyone else does, so I am interested to know what his wish will be, even though I kind of think I already know what it will be!
