I really enjoyed this short introduction to the world of Madison, NV. It's not a hard book to read - suitable for early YA (though dealing with darker themes already) - but the voices are very distinct, and relatable. It doesn't take long to get into the premise of the story, but there are secrets hinted at that made me want to know more - what did Eldon's mom wish for, what happened to his sister? - and I was curious about the general setup of the town (what would happen if someone didn't wish, for instance?)
Definitely intrigued! The cover art is very cool, and I like the title, though I'm not in love with the font choice on the jacket.
