I didn't know anything about this going into it, I simply decided to try it because I have heard many things about Chelsea Sedoti's other book, The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett. Although it set the bar high, I think As You Wish will surpass the expectation set by her debut book. The mysteriousness of the origins of this unique coming-of-age tradition are intriguing and I think so much can be explored about the main character with that topic. This seems like it will a great mysterious book that will leave readers on the edge of their seats as they find out more about the secrets of the tiny town of Madison.
