As a Susan Meissner fan, I was incredibly excited to win a copy of this book. My sense of anticipation about the novel was so great that I almost didn't want to start it, because I knew that would mean I was on the road to completing it! And, true to form, I devoured it in a short amount of time, and now I'm back to wondering when I can learn more about the next novel in the works!
Those familiar with Meissner's most recent books (Secrets of a Charmed Life will forever be one of my favorite novels) might initially miss a modern story line in this novel, they'll soon find themselves consumed only by the Bright family and their experiences, individually and as a unit.
