I am a historical fiction junkie and have my fair collection of books that tend to center around this time period. The cover told me right away that this book would fit in with my preferred genre. As soon as I read that this is centered in the United States (and not during WWII) I was hooked! This sounds tragic yet heartwarming. I can't wait to pick it up!
