I was immediately drawn into Susan Meissner’s new book As Bright as Heaven not only by the beautiful cover but also by reading the first look. It was filled with so much heartfelt emotion as Pauline kneeled at her son’s grave possibly for the last time. This first look was so beautifully written touching me forming a memorable moment and I was sad when it came to an end. I am definitely putting As Bright as Heaven on my to read list as I want to know more about Pauline and her daughters.
