This title sounds like a different twist on an immigration story. I cannot tell where the family comes from, but it must be from across the ocean. They are hoping for a bright future in America, in Philadelphia, but come up against some very devastating situations, like the Spanish Flu and death. But the very despair of these situations may bring new hope for an even brighter future.
