This book sounds like it gives a good look at a time in history as well as the emotional turmoil associated with it. The first couple paragraphs made me feel like the weight of the illness and death situations might get too heavy, but as I read on it felt more like it would delve into the strength and mental aspects of the situation. I'd like to learn more about the experiences of this time and place in history.
