This book, AS BRIGHT AS HEAVEN, by Susan Meissner looks amazing. The descriptive language was just beautiful and so well-written.
The excerpt is based in 1918 which is a time period that I don't know that much about so I would love to learn more. It also mentioned Philadelphia which is an incredible city that was fascinating to me when I visited so learning more about this city about 100 years ago would be wonderful!
