Author Susan Meissner has come to be a name I equate with fine writing! The cover of this book initially caught my attention. The First Look hooked me. The novel will delve into the aftermath of the Great War and into an equally despairing time of the Spanish Flu. Always on the lookout for a read about families overcoming diversity, I do not think I will be disappointed as this story tells of a couple's adoption of an orphaned child. I cannot wait to read this book!
