Occasionally I read historical fiction, and this book if the exact kind I look for. First person narrator, Pauline, experienced loss and looking to the future, a new land and experience to travel to. She said goodbye to her baby boy and now wants to move on, to change and explore a new life. Can't wait to read more of this book! Cover fits well with the story so far....
