I couldn't wait to read this book because I really enjoyed The Wife Between Us. I thought this was a very solid story but it wasn't anything new or exceptionally different. I liked this book because it was very readable and I liked the main character, she had a lot of relatable qualities. However, I kept waiting for a big reveal or a big "Wow" moment and that never really happened. I really wanted a little more from the plot. I also thought a few things were quite implausible and the ending wrapped up a little too quickly. Didn't exactly like the "epilogue" part either. I did find myself reading late into the night and it was a good story but it just wasn't anything out of the ordinary or super fresh.
