Jessica Farris is a struggling make-up artist in NYC. She has parents and a sister with a disability in PA. When her father loses his job, Jessica is very worried how the family will maintain the care her sister needs. She over hears one of her clients talking about a psychological study being held over the weekend and participants will make several hundred dollars for a few hours of their time. If it sounds too good to be true… The study is on ethics and morality and subjects will remain anonymous. Jessica is asked to continue with the study beyond just answering questions in a classroom setting … for these extra services, she receives more compensation. She needs the money and goes along with it … but she starts questioning the motives of Dr. Shields.
