A friend of mine once told me that she would never give books 5 star reviews, because “no book is perfect”. When I saw that she broke that rule and gave this book 5 stars, I had to read it. Now.
And oh boy am I glad I did. I tore through this book quickly. While I was satisfied with how the story wrapped up, I was equally bummed it was done. This book really explores different ways that people can take advantage of others, in completely different capacities. The story had me hooked, and had a realistic feeling that some domestic thrillers are lacking.
This was a breath of fresh air in its category. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a new book to read.
