This is a phenomenal story set in NYC so many places mentioned will be familiar to those who live here. The tale has three parts with four main characters covering a period of five months & a total of 69 chapters, as well as an epilogue. The exceedingly short chapters propel you to read with urgency - fantastically well-done! I found the alternating perspectives pushing me even more, to learn the next piece of the puzzle while the ending will leave you gasping in disbelief but empathetic to the trials the main character endured. This is a good "read" while on a long ride anywhere or with a glass of wine in hand, comfortably ensconced on a couch or in bed. I am now so intrigued by the authors' imaginations that I will definitely read their previous work, The Wife Between Us!!
