This one kept me completely intrigued while reading, and I wanted to know what happened...but there was no huge explosive, make me gasp ending. For me that is something that I really want in a thriller.
I also didn’t particularly feel connected to any one character. They were kind of vanilla. It’s sad because I truly felt this book had amazing potential. I mean, I came up with all kinds of twists in my head that I was waiting to see if it would happen...but, alas, it didn’t. I don’t like when I feel like there was just so much more amazing things that could have been done.
I’ve been told the authors’ other book, The Wife Between Us, is amazing. I plan to read it soon and hope I love it. This one was just a bit of a let down for me.
