This was a fast-paced, twisted, psychological thriller and I devoured it in just a few hours. It kept my interest from the first page until the last, even though I did find it fairly predictable. It is the perfect book to read on a lazy summer day and you want a book to entertain you but not a book that will make you think too hard. The villain is deliciously evil, but I found the other main characters to be pretty unlikable as well. It was difficult to cheer for the heroine when she was such a crappy human being herself.

Overall, I think the plot was cleverly devised and adequately executed. I’ve read each of their novels and I’d say they’re all a bit predictable or similar and that makes me want to mark lower. I will say this was probably my fav of theirs
