This thriller had an interesting premise but something about it fell a little flat for me. It's also possible I'm just not all that into thrillers in general.
It had plenty of suspense and creepiness. But I found myself skimming to get moving along. The pacing was a little slow, spending too much time lingering over some of the earlier inconsequential mysteries (and what they were wearing, my goodness!). And at times, the characters' decisions and motivations seemed sort of nonsensical to me as well. (both of these issues seem sort of typical for this genre, though).
It never really gets quite as psychologically frightening as I expected. It was a unique premise, though. It was entertaining, though, and the ending left me satisfied enough. I would read these authors again.
