I was intrigued by the synopsis of this book. As a person who has participated in studies it captured my imagination. The situation could easily turn into something you don't expect.
I found myself engaged fairly quickly and wanted to know if the main character would survive the situation. It was more suspenseful early in the book, but had an interesting ending. I had to keep reading because I had to know how it ended.
While the book took a turn from what I expected it was still intriguing. I was invested in the plot and characters enough to be fine with the direction the book took. I did like that the writing kept me engaged and that I was not able to anticipate everything. If you are a fan of mysteries, I would recommend giving this one a go!
