I loved the preview pages so much that I could immediately envision recommending this book to my local book club and texting friends in other states about this. In fact, I also went back to the Bookish website to see if I could get it *now*, but since it is still a pre-order, I am going to try and be one of the first people to read it through Bookish. I like the contemporary setting and find the protagonist totally believable: allowing one's mother to think that her 20-something child's life is perfect since the other child, Becky, still requires as much attention and watching-over as a toddler. The black clothing and the strong mint in the mouth before close-up makeover work with clients are examples of the details that make this book totally believable right off the bat. A good story with some scary twists.
