I enjoyed the previous collaboration between the two authors, and found this excerpt to be even more scintillating. There is a sense of unease permeating the book, and it slowly lures the reader in. I feel that the writers definitely knew how to create a real whodunit and get the readers to keep on flipping the pages (that's what happened to me).
While I did not particularly like the main character , I still found nyself cheering her on and hoping for a positive outcome.
I will definitely read more books by these two incredibly talented authors and will recommend those to my friends. I did feel, however, that the protagonist's plight was not necessarily very realistic, but then again, this is a novel...
