Great concept - Enjoyed it but fell a bit short for me in the end !
I couldn’t wait to read this- after reading the first look - I was intrigued ! In actuality my rating would be 3.5 -
The concept was so new and exciting that the first half of the book sucked me in and kept me guessing and excited to see where it would take me!
The second half was not what I expected and I will be honest - I was a bit disappointed that it turned out to be a scorned/crazy wife just trying to get back at her husband ! It just fell a bit flat - I was hoping for WAY more of a psychological mind fu*k!
Overall it was a good thriller and I did enjoy it- it just wasn’t all that different after all- the hype as well as the first half just had me waiting for the OMG moment and it just really never came.
If you liked The Wife Between Us (which I did) you should enjoy this as well- it’s just not mind blowing (IMO) but still had good writing and and an interesting premise !
This is of course just my opinion- I’m sure this will be a best seller!
