I absolutely loved The Wife Between Us so I was pumped to read this one. I started in and really felt pulled in. I was trying to figure out how this Psychological Thriller would all pan out. It felt as though it was actually fairly quick paced with lots of different moving parts. I loved how there was the perspective form Dr. Shields and Jessica. It gave two different yet overlapping narratives. It was shocking to see what the purpose Dr. Shields had was. Even though the story felt fast paced, it seemed to feel like it was dragging on. I remember being only about halfway through and the story was already developed and trying to figure out how it still had halfway to go. There was a lot here. It had a different feel to it. But it just wasn’t amazing to me.
