This is twist and turn thriller. The story alternates between the points of view of two main characters Jess and Dr. Shields. They both have their motivations it is just Jess's are more obvious sooner then Dr. Shields. The second half wizzes past at a ferocious pace with the alternating perspectives making almost as if you were a third party sitting in the whole time. The intensity of the writing really brought out the character development for both Jess and Dr. Shields. With several jaw dropping moments it was a wonder anyone could walk away once they started. It really made you think about your morals and just the ethics of the situations at times Jess was put it and how you would react. Another great book from two amazing authors. Looking forward to more collaborations in the future!
