Engaging Thriller

This is the first book I’ve read by dynamic duo, Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen, and An Anonymous Girl did not disappoint. I really enjoyed this cat-and-mouse book of psychological suspense in which Jessica (Jess) Morris finds herself in over her head after bending the rules a bit to participate in a morality study. (The irony isn’t lost in the storytelling.)

While the books starts off at a slow burn to set the stage, it turns up the heat by about the halfway point to race to an unanticipated conclusion. Told in alternating viewpoints, this novel will keep readers guessing until the end. For me, that’s the sign of a good thriller; I don’t what to guess what happens before the last chapter. I could see this being made into a movie.
