As I mentioned in my The Wife Between Us review, I will also read or buy anything by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. And you know An Anonymous Girl was going to be good when the first line of the synopsis was about a mysterious study on ethics and morality. Creepy.

Not going to lie, the scenes during the actually study gave me Saw-like vibes; I kept waiting for something to pop out and to give her some weird in-person scenario she had to answer for. Thankfully, that is not how this novel goes...

Instead, you get a story that slowly unravels into obsession and lies. Again, you need to be comfortable with multiple narrators, but I generally thought this was an easy novel to follow with clear characters.

Overall, I love Hendricks and Pekkanen as a team, and can't wait to see what they come up with next!
