I loved Hendrick's & Pekkanen's first novel The Wife Between Us, and I was really excited to read An Anonymous Girl. Their second novel did not disappoint.

It all begins when Jessica (interestingly enough) fibs her way into a study on ethics to make a few hundred dollars. And it turns out she is exactly what Dr. Shields is looking for in a subject.

The book takes off from there on a wild ride full of twists and turns as Jessica continues to participate in the study. The study in itself is interesting - we are faced with ethical choices every day and are we making the right ones? Of course, the book is much more than just the study. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I will say that An Anonymous Girl is a well-written and tightly plotted page turner.

If you enjoy domestic noir or psychological thrillers, don't miss this read!
