I am incredibly intrigued by An Anonymous Girl. I was caught up by the writing immediately. The flow of the author's words are so conversational and subtle, I felt ushered into the role of the protagonist before even knowing her name. A broke make-up artist gets a big break in the form of a psychological test given by the local college. She's going to make five hundred dollars taking a morality quiz, which delves very deep into her psyche. This is EXACTLY the kind of idea I love to read about, because it's the type of conversation I want to have with intimate friends. It's the level of intimacy that makes the test menacing, especially since the Doctor giving the test is watching our protagonist as she's taking it. I'm so excited to read this book!!
