From the very beginning, the authors had my attention: the reminder that we can't know the secrets other people carry around, and therefore can't judge is both a good reminder--and an enticing suggestion that the narrator has a juicy secret. The structure, of shifting from the first person/main character narrator to the second person/therapist, adds tension and suspense. I can't wait to read the rest!
