There are no books better than the ones that star a varied agglomeration of main characters. The story starts off right off the bat with three people who could not be more different from one another who will be forced to be together for who knows how long. With a multitude of others soon to join them, it will be impossible to pick a favorite. Roll that together with the World War two in America setting and you have yourself a great book. I'm sure there will be laughs, tears, and many unintelligible noises to look forward to when "Almost Home hits the shelves.
