The letter at the beginning of the novel gives clear signals of someone who has no one to talk to. Dolly writes to her sister Violet as if they were personally speaking. I'd like to know if Jesse finally solves the Illinois farm issue that Anna had inherited from her grandparents. Will Ana adapt to her new life in Alabama? Will Dolly meet again with her sister Violet? Will Si end the lake project? It intrigues me how the author will bring to the story the religious theme that Dolly points out when she talks about "...Sabbath Day" on page 17 and the phrase "...those two try my patience and test my religion" on page 20. I really like the cover of the book since alludes to the comfort and peace that a home represents. I want to read the full story! I hope I'm the winner.
