Maybe it's because I used to work at a hotel but I'm always drawn into these hotel/boarding house settings in books because you usually get an interesting mix of characters. I'm curious to see how much of an adjustment it will be for Anna moving from Illinois to the South and I am interested in finding out more about Dolly. I'm not exactly sure where the story is headed but it sounds like this could be one of those simple, but enjoyable reads.
