All You Have To Do... is read this book and give it a chance! This young adult novel has a very deep thought provoking idea in giving a voice to the future and to the past. This book has a duel timeline storyline in that it shows two Black teens, one living in the hight of the 1960's Civil Rights Movement and a the other teen living in current day. It's important to remember to face the life that you are graced with courage and strenght. It's up to you to make life worth living and not focus on what you cannot change. Remember, if you play the victim you will always be the victim. I thought the storyline was done in a nice way. Not to heavy yet deep enough to make it worth while to read. This novel was overall a good one and pretty fitting for the things going on today. Cover wise I liked the vintage black n white look with the color. Thank you Bookish First.
