Historical fiction is a genre I almost always dislike. For that reason I don't think I could ever enjoy this book. The pages I read just didn't appeal to me. The writing style was okay, not something I would actively seek out, but I would be okay reading it if the story was interesting. I did like how the cover told you a lot about what the story would be like.
