I’m so intrigued by this book’s storyline!
This book is about two, young, Black men. They both have a racist incident happen. But the most interesting twist is that this book takes place in two timelines. Gibran is a teenager in 1995 and his story deals with the “see no color” attitude at his school.
Kevin’s storyline takes place in 1968 and is about a protest.
I enjoyed this excerpt and I definitely want to read this book.
