I do not want to dismiss all that this book is going to say neither the readers who are going connect to it. I wonder if it is going to tread what other Black ya racial stories have done. Is it centering whiteness? Is it centering Black people reacting to white microaggressions? Do the Black characters have personality/presence outside of reacting to foolishness that the white characters are doing?
